OMG Jeffrey Campbell totally copied this shit…

1938 was an extraordinary year in the history of shoes thanks, mostly, to one man: Salvatore Ferragamo.

These amazing rainbow sandals (made by Ferragamo in 1938 for Judy Garland) essentially reintroduced the platform shoe, absent since the early 18th century, to fashion.
